A Day to Remember

December 7th, a day that lives in infamy for so many reasons. As you stand on the memorial or walk by the buildings on base that are still ridden with bullet holes from that day, you realize just how different our world was then. Americans stood as one nation, fought together, died together, made sacrifices at home for our troops and the war effort. It was the greatest generation and I’m proud to be a child of that strong, proud and patriotic generation. We need more people like our fathers and grandfathers in our world but sadly most are gone and only memories remain. To those that survive still today, I thank you as well should all Americans.
