Just a little reminder of the men and women in my life and those that I never even knew your names, thank you for your service. Thank you for all those nights and days you spent away from your loved ones, including me. Thank you for all those missed meals and holidays. Those hours of being alone with no phone. Days and weeks with no mail. The many times you laid your life on the line. Yes thank you for it all. And thank you to all the men and women that stayed home keeping he home fires going so their loved ones could serve. That of course includes husbands, wives, moms, dads, sisters, brothers and all of the others.
You all took a job that paid less and endured more danger so that others could live better. If you are reading this and have never had a family member serving you might not understand. I hope you take the time to learn just what it takes from everyone involved. Next time you see a Vet or active duty service person, you will be moved to say thanks and shake their hand.
Thank you to my, dad, daughter, son in-law, friends and family. I love you all. Enjoy your Veteran’s Day.
